Western laziness is quite different. It consists of cramming our lives with compulsive activity, so there is no time at all to confront the real issues. This form of laziness lies in our failure to choose worthwhile applications for our energy."

I feel this more so tonight than i have any other night. After my first day back into this pedagogical theory heavy art system I should be asleep treating myself to the rejuvenation that comes from rest but I think I have forgotten how to do so. And it begins. I am affected by all the new neuroses of technology and modernism. The exponential growth is crippling my mind and not allowing me to understand what rest and laziness is.
