I was just in Mumbai, and it is far from ideal. Also, nobody there calls it anything but Bombay, and this to the extent that referring to it as "Mumbai," gets you a response that conspicuously uses the more old-fashioned moniker.
Also, I'm off curry for ages, but the trip was gorgeous.
